深圳市政府recently announced the establishment of a new outbound travel live broadcasting.html">broadcasting base in Shenzhen, aiming to promote the development of the city''s tourism industry and create a new business model for the sector.

The base, called "Shenzhen Mongoose Outbound Travel Live Broadcasting Base", is a collaboration between the government and private companies. It will focus on providing high-quality outbound travel services, including live broadcasting of travel experiences to domestic and international audiences.

The base aims to capitalize on the growing popularity of live streaming.html">streaming and social media platforms, such as Douyin and WeChat, which have become increasingly important channels for travelers to share their experiences and connect with others.

According to officials, the base will work closely with local travel agencies, hotels, and tourist attractions to offer a wide range of outbound travel services, including package tours, customized travel planning, and real-time broadcasting of travel experiences.

The establishment of the base is expected to drive growth in Shenzhen''s tourism industry, which has seen rapid expansion in recent years. In 2020, the city received over 10 million tourists, generating revenue of over ¥100 billion (approximately $14.5 billion).
